Richard began his investment industry career in 2007 and joined Stifel Independent Advisors in 2024. He enjoys the challenges and rewards of working in an industry that provides the opportunity for him to help make positive multigenerational impacts on people’s lives. For more than a decade, he has been thankful to celebrate alongside his clients as they achieve major milestones, including the birth of children and grandchildren, marriages, and college graduations.
Outside the office, Richard can be found warming his seat at the stadium and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks on game nights. He spends his vacation time traveling and is an avid movie buff. If you challenge him with a film quote, chances are he will be able to tell you which movie it came from.
Laura began her financial services career in 2007 and joined Stifel Independent Advisors in 2024. Laura feels fortunate that each of her clients trust her to be a part of both their financial and personal lives. She fell in love with finance after taking an accounting class in college. While earning a degree in finance at Washington State University, she interned at a hedge fund on the east coast.
Laura, along with her husband, Casey, and their son, Nelson, love being outside and enjoying their home. In their free time, you can find them traveling, casting a line, hunting, or working around their property. Laura and her three brothers were the fourth generation to grow up on the family farm in Dryad, Washington. Laura’s and Casey’s families have provided them with nieces and nephews whom they love to spend time with and spoil. They also love spending time with their large extended families throughout the year.
Silas began his investment industry career in 2020 and joined Stifel Independent Advisors in 2024. Silas is a lifetime resident of Lewis County and spent two years teaching in Morocco. He has always enjoyed traveling and has spent time in Spain, Mexico, Japan, and Alaska.
Silas and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 2015 and have four wonderful children – Tyrel, Emma, Tucker, and Elena. His kids bring joy and laughter to their family, and Silas enjoys the adventures they go on together. Family has always been very important to him, as he comes from a family of 10 children.
Outside of home and the office, Silas is the head Taekwondo instructor at Centralia College and volunteers his time to teach self-defense classes on occasion. Silas enjoys learning languages and is comfortable in conversational Spanish and knows some Arabic as well.* He and his wife host an annual Highland Games at their home, which is a terrific event for friends and family.

Trina has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Stifel Independent Advisors, she worked in administrative roles at Morgan Stanley and Edward Jones before joining Columbia Crest Financial Advisors. Trina diligently assists clients through numerous areas of their financial landscape, and she truly enjoys building long-lasting relationships with all of the team’s clients.
Trina is a Roseburg native, and she and her partner raised their children here. Their daughter and two sons are grown and have moved out, but they still have two small dogs, Ollee, the mini Dachshund, and Bentlee, the Shih Tzu. Outside the office, Trina loves watching all kinds of sports and spends many weekends visiting local breweries and wineries while catching a game. Trina currently sits on the board of directors for Douglas County CASA, which provides valuable volunteer advocacy for abused children.
After spending more than 20 years in customer service, including many years in banking, Amber joined Columbia Crest Financial Advisors in 2018. She loves being able to work with the team’s clients and getting to know new people as they come in to the office.
Amber enjoys reading, watching movies, and is a lifelong fan of Jeopardy – she loves collecting random facts, so feel free to share interesting tidbits with her. Amber and her husband raised their five boys and now have a daughter-in-law and two grandsons to spoil. She spent years coaching youth soccer and loved her time as a football mom, wrestling mom, and soccer mom.
Amber’s passion for volunteering and giving back led her to be an active member of Soroptimist International for more than 10 years. In 2022, she worked with a group of like-minded community members to start the Toledo Neighbors Program in her hometown. Giving back is an integral part of who she is.
Ashlyn has been a part of Columbia Crest Financial Advisors since 2021. She earned a B.S. in Applied Management from Centralia College. Ashlyn enjoys working with clients’ account-related needs and continues to learn about the investment industry as she grows in her career.
Ashlyn has spent most of her life living in the Lewis County area. She attended Toledo schools before continuing her education at Centralia College. Outside the office, Ashlyn plays indoor soccer year-round and played one year of soccer in college. When Ashlyn is not playing soccer, she loves to curl up on the couch to read a good book. She also enjoys being outside, hiking with friends, her boyfriend, and her dog. When she can, she takes the opportunity to travel. In fact, she has visited nine states, and one other country so far!
Bekah is a Roseburg native who joined Columbia Crest in 2022. She continues to learn more about the financial services industry and looks forward to applying her skills and knowledge as she continues to grow her role with the team.
Bekah loves being involved with the community and grew up participating and volunteering in various local groups. She enjoys being outdoors, camping, hiking, hunting, and walking on the beach, but you can often her curled up on the couch with her fiancé and their five cats. Her biggest dream is to travel all around the world and experience the different cultures and scenery this world has to offer.
